PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND USES
Rigging Rope Wrench, the new device for controlled rigging in treeclimbing, designed by the brilliant mind of Kevin Bingham in collaboration with ISC.
Taking up the original concept of the Rope Wrench, this new tool adds a friction centerline.
So during rigging there is not only friction generated by the heat sink located at the base of the shaft but also by the device.
It allows it to be controlled either from below or directly from the Climbers in the plant. In this way, two operators control the descent and no longer the one placed at the bottom.
In the event that lifting is required, the “key” disengages, making the movement free and fuid.
Suitable for loads from 20 to 120 kg, and has been optimized for 13 mm rope. We recommend with the use of Yale Double Estelon for increased performance.
Equipped with unidirectional locking, promoting additional friction when lowering elements and greater control. During lifting phases, the system unlocks.
It is placed in a completely traditional way by means of slings.
