Description
The baumbad Premium PE tree watering bag offers the same drip-watering performance as the PVC version in a different material. It weighs just 510 g and holds its shape even when partly empty.
Why choose a polyethylene watering bag
The fibre-reinforced 240 g/m² polyethylene is TÜV SÜD certified and REACH compliant. Two 0.3 mm layers welded on all four sides give good tear strength and resistance to UV light and weather. PE is lighter than PVC, which makes carrying large quantities to site easier.
The 0.8 mm holes are laser-drilled right at the fold of the bag. Water flows out in a controlled way for about 9 hours and soaks the root zone deeply. The stable structure keeps the bag upright around the trunk and makes refilling easier.
Ideal if you prefer an alternative to PVC, or manage many trees and want to cut the weight you move around on site.
How to use it
Zip the bag around the trunk and fill it with a hose. Laser-drilled holes at the fold release the water for about 9 hours. The PE bag stays upright even when half empty, which makes the next refill quicker. Link several bags for trunks over 30 cm in circumference.
