Description
The Berger ArboRapid telescopic pole for tree climbing was designed for work in the canopy. Closed it measures just 86 cm, so it hangs from the harness without getting in the way on the climb. Up in the tree it extends to 1.90 m and brings the tips of the branches within reach without moving position.

It has three sections in high-strength aluminium and adjusts steplessly. Metal clamping levers lock the length at any point. The carabiner holder is supplied as standard and lets you clip the pole to a belt, a ring or a rope.
Why a Dedicated Canopy Pole
A ground pole is too long to carry aloft. This version cuts bulk and weight to a minimum while keeping the ArboRapid click fitting, so in the tree you use exactly the same heads you use from the ground: saw, hooks and the other Berger accessories.
The Two Versions
The pole alone weighs 1.3 kg. The set adds the saw with its 40 cm carbon steel blade, pull hook and branch pusher, plus the scabbard. With the saw fitted the overall length runs from 1.71 to 2.50 m, for a total weight of 1.845 kg.

Safety in the Canopy
Berger approves its poles up to 8 metres of working height, exclusively with original ArboRapid tools. Stay clear of power lines. On the ground, nobody should stand closer than twice the working height. Make sure the levers are locked before cutting, and close the pole when you move through the tree.
