The Silky Sugoi 420 is the larger sibling of the iconic Sugoi range — designed for arborists who regularly tackle larger-diameter branches and demand both speed and precision from a hand saw. Like the Sugoi 360, it carries the “Tree Tiger” reputation earned in canopies across the world.
Features and Applications
The 420 mm curved blade delivers a consistent 6.5 tooth pitch per 30 mm, enabling rapid cuts through large sections without sacrificing control. The ergonomic handle absorbs vibration and maintains firm grip even in wet conditions. A D-ring at the base of the handle allows the saw to be attached to a chainsaw lanyard for safe working at height. The scabbard can be mounted directly to a harness or strapped to the operator’s leg. The Sugoi 420 is backed by the same high standards of Japanese steel craftsmanship as the rest of the Silky range. A shorter 360 mm version and replacement blades are available separately.
